Shaojing Lin joins HaoLiWen BeijingOffice as Litigation and IP Counsel

HaoLiWen is pleased to announce that Ms. Shaojing Lin has recently joined HaoLiWen Beijing Office as litigation and IP counsel.

Ms. Lin was admitted to PRC Bar in 2003. She has 17 years of experience in dispute resolution and corporate/commercial law practice, either as professional lawyer or in-house counsel, covering investment and financing, equity transfer, corporate restructuring and banking business. Her clients include large SOEs, new hi-tech enterprises, and other Chinese and foreign corporations. In 2011, Ms. Lin was shortlisted into the external counsel pool of China Development Bank, and was selected to participate in the risk assessment for a large infrastructure loan project. Also, she has provided the bank with leading-edge policy research reports.

In IP law practice, Ms. Lin was an IP counsel in charge of intellectual property licensing, technical secret protection and patent management. She also successfully closed a few copyright infringement cases in favor of her client, which were listed as the leading cases on the website of Beijing courts.

As an experienced practitioner in dispute resolution, Ms. Lin has represented clients in litigation, arbitration, conciliation and mediation, resolving disputes over commercial contracts, non performing loans, financial guarantee and equipment leasing. She has represented China Development Bank in litigation cases, and also represented a HK company in administrative action proceedings against a local government in an investment dispute, which was listed into the foreign-related case report of the Supreme People’s Court of China.

Ms. Lin is fluent in Mandarin and English.
